Some seriously fab inspiration all across the board- I mean blogs - today. First Jen at Made By Girl showed us Pamela Love. So insane. So
hot.
So I went over to Refinery 29 to check out the story on Pamela Love and I found a story on this fashion obsessed teen from Texas named Jane. She has a blog called Sea Of Shoes. Cute story, but what I loved more is the background of where this kid takes her pics.
Don't get me wrong, the kid has mad style ( check out that coat! ) but how hard can it be when mom comes home with Dries van Noten, Ann Demeulmeester, Prada etc... Not to mention the fact that she lets her kid wear the stuff! I don't have any concept of that honestly. I know how my 20 year old takes care of her clothes ( my 16 year old too ) and I would not let either of them sport Prada ( or any other high end designer ) -that's for sure. None the less, more power to this kid for having such a passion for fashion.
More important is the background! More inspiration for the store!!! I love it! Now I just wish they would finish the construction and fix the leaks. So I could get moving on the interior!

i too am newly obsessed with sea of shoes. i forget sometimes that this girl is a junior in high school. she dresses so amazingly avant garde and has fashion wisdom beyond her years. in high school i would die if my mom came home with an abercrombie bag...prada and dries? not even in my vocab when i was in high school. the times sure have changed!!!
