Pack it up and paint

Today I am going to pack up the rest of the stuff I have stashed in my home for the store. The space should be ready by the end of the week and I also have inventory to make...

So I have three chinese end tables that are a dark brown right now. I know I wa nt to give them a chinese red faux finish like the cabinet above with eco friendly Yolo Colorhouse paint. There is also an inset on the top and I found amazing recycled content wallpaer at Woodsoon & Rummerfield. I am thinking about two amazing wallpaper choices for the inset. So many choices it's hard to pick...

Anyone feel like perusing their pics and throwing out some suggestions?

The wall paper link doesn't work, otherwise I'd look at the choices to give you feedback. Love the red chinese cabinet! Pretty exciting week for you moving into the shop, can't wait to come see it.

thank you so much for your comment!

now i have a new obsession: david stein

of course i read the wikipedia entry!

your father was an incredible, singular, brilliant man. the story of the relationship between your father and judge stone was really moving and said so much about who he really was at the core! your mother must be a fascinating lady.

life is so amazing. i've always loved alan rudolph's the moderns! linda fiorentino! i've just netflixed it.

you've made my day : )

I checked out the wallpapers. Here's what I like for that red Chinese cabinet. Under the Lost Empire category: The Black Reptile Vinyl; Under the Florence Broadhurst category: Matte Emulsion Circles & Squares; and under the Chrysanthemum category: The Persimmon Chrysanthemum. They all seem to be in tones that would go with the cabinet, barring any color shifts from on-screen viewing. Good luck!
