David Hicks inspiration

My next project I would like to tackle is the reverse applique skirt from the Alabama Stitch Book

I am not so much a "leaf" girl so I am getting my inspiration from a David Hicks design. It's a beautiful graphic pattern that I think might extend to the bandana project as well :)
